It's
hard to
believe the
holiday
season is
fast
approaching,
and with it
the return
of direct
service to
Orlando,
FL
via our
airline
partner,
Allegiant
Air on
November 19.
They join
USAirways
and Delta/Northwest
Airlines as
our
dependable
air service
providers,
getting
you where
you need to
go.
Winter
weather can
make flying
difficult. But
it’s a
privilege to
recognize
the
outstanding
efforts of
the
Elmira
Corning
Regional
Airport’s
Maintenance
and
Operations
crews that
continues to
keep our
runways safe
during our
inclement
weather each
year. This
devoted
group of
individuals
works long
days and
nights
keeping the
airport
open. Of
course, we
expect to
experience
some flight
problems due
to weather
conditions
throughout
the winter
months - but
it’s
comforting
to know that
your Airport
is making
every effort
to keep your
travel easy!
I
am excited
to report
that more
people are
flying out
of ELM than
in previous
years, a
trend which
has
continued
over the
past several
months.
Throughout
the summer,
ELM
passenger
numbers have
remained
high,
despite
industry
downturn.
I hope that
area
residents
will
continue to
consider ELM
first when
making
travel
arrangements.
We can
attract more
and better
service out
of Elmira
Corning by
demonstrating
to our
airline
carriers
that we use
their
services
here.
We're
putting
together
some great
prizes for
our upcoming
ELM PASSplus
member
sweepstakes
drawings, so
if you
haven’t yet
had a chance
to register
for our free
passenger
loyalty
program this
is a great
time to do
it. Members receive
discounts at
our DC-2
airport
restaurant,
and parking
benefits
when they
present
their
membership
card. In
addition, all

I
wish you
safe travel
in the
